🚓 Out and About in All Weathers ❄️

PCSOs in the Bardon Beat will continue patrolling the local area throughout this evening, as we do in all weather conditions 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️. A moderate snow and ice warning has been issued for later tonight and, although conditions aren’t expected to be as severe as yesterday, there remains a real risk of icy roads and pavements 🧊.

Last night, I attended one of several road traffic collisions that occurred because of the snowy conditions. This really highlights how quickly the weather can change and just how dangerous icy surfaces can be. For this reason, it’s very important that everyone takes extra care this evening, particularly when driving or walking outdoors.
